RF Mapping and Ablation Workshop
Invitation
Please feel invited to the RFtime Ablation Workshops on October 3-4, 2024. This year’s workshops will be devoted to complex atrial arrhythmias in patients with atrial cardiomyopathy substrate.
RFtime is my initiative to create a platform for joint meetings and exchange of experiences of Electrophysiologists dealing with 3D mapping and point RF ablations.
I hope that in the future we will meet in various Workshops in Poland as part of the next editions of RFtime.

Live Ablations, Lectures, Discussions
Live complex RF Ablation Procedures
During the workshop, we plan to perform five complex RF ablation procedures with dense mapping of the atrial cardiomyopathy substrate. The ablation procedures will be transmitted live to the lecture hall. For those willing, there is a possibility to participate in the procedures in the EP Laboratory.
Thu, 3 oct, 2024
2:30PM – 6.30PM
FRI, 4 oct, 2024
9:30AM – 5.30PM
Lectures by Experienced Electrophysiologists
We are very pleased that we will be able to host very experienced electrophysiologists not only from Poland but also from abroad. The planned lectures are directly related to our main topic during this year’s edition of the RF Workshop: dense mapping and RF ablation of the atrial cardiomyopathy substrate.

FRI, 4 oct, 2024

Exchange of Experiences - Difficult and Unusual Patients
We want these to be Workshops with active participation of Participants. Learning about a different approach to the same problem, mutual exchange of experiences, constructive criticism and suggestions is what builds our experience and knowledge. As part of the theoretical part, we will share our own experience with difficult and interesting RF ablations.

PerClose™ Training with Certificate
Vascular access can be a challenge for each of us. It can be a vascular malformation, a congenital anomaly or other vascular procedures that make access difficult. Such a challenge for us was a patient with a bilateral Y prosthesis, in whom the application of a classic compression dressing or a hemostatic suture could significantly disrupt blood flow in the prostheses placed shallowly subcutaneously. The need of the hour was the first use of PerClose™, which we currently use routinely for both venous and arterial access. During the Workshops, there will be an opportunity to see live vessel closure with the PerClose™ system and, for those willing, to undergo training to obtain a PerClose™ certificate.

Registration
Each of us was at the beginning of our path as an electrophysiologist. Apart from the development of knowledge about atrial cardiomyopathy, apart from the development of technology that allows for better and better imaging of the arrhythmia substrate and apart from better and safer diagnostic and RF ablation catheters, it is the common exchange of experiences and „watching other electrophysiologists” at work that allows us to improve our knowledge and skills. If you are interested in this approach, being an electrophysiologist (experienced or in training), cardiologist, doctor or medical student, then we invite you to RFtime!

The Specialist Hospital in Biała Podlaska offers patients high-quality medical services. Over the years, it has obtained many certificates and distinctions.
This year marks 10 years since the first ablation procedure at WSS Biała Padlaska. Currently, the EP Laboratory performs both simple ablations and complex ablations of supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias using advanced 3D mapping technology. As one of the few EP Laboratory in Poland, we also perform ablations in patients with electrical storms.
